What is a syndet shampoo bar? Syndet is short for synthetic detergent. Ultimately, these are a detergent, rather than a soap like our href=" title="Soap Shampoo">soap shampoo bars.

Why use a detergent than a soap for your hair?

The pH in a syndet shampoo bar is lower than a soap bar, and closer to the pH of your hair. This will help keep frizzing and build up down, and also eliminate the need for an apple cider vinegar (ACV) rinse, unlike a soap shampoo. Although, if you want a more natural experience, a soap shampoo bar would be the better route.

What can you expect from our syndet bars?

I have tried syndet bars from other companies in the past, and I was never fully satisfied with them. My hair looked weighed down and it never had a lot of shine or volume. After many trials, this recipe finally gave me a clean feel without my hair feeling stripped of oils, while giving it volume and shine. We use honeyquat, avocado and manuka honey extract for a thorough cleaning and healthy shiny looking hair.
